If you’re in pro AV and/or technology for higher ed, and you’re not familiar with Joe Way, you’ve maybe been living under a rock? Joe is at every conference, and on every platform, sharing his deep knowledge of how universities leverage the best tech solutions to help teachers teach and students learn, period. Real world, not maybe solutions pushed only by vendors.
Joe is now at UCLA (previously at USC) as director of digital spaces, and his work there and over the past few years has been phenomenal. Notably, he co-founded HETMA – the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance – and HETMA will have a big presence at InfoComm 2024.
For a great summary of HETMA’s involvement in InfoComm and the market as a whole, check out AV Technology magazine’s update from Cindy Davis here.
